He, however, claimed that he was not driving the car and also denied having consumed alcohol. Siddharth Maharia, son of Independent MLA from Fatehpur, Nandkishore Maharia, was allegedly driving a BMW car at a speed of approximately 100 km/hr when he hit an autorickshaw and then rammed a PCR van nearby, the police said.
