Peers, who grew up in Melbourne, and Kontinen are seeking their first Australian doubles title. In the women's doubles final Friday, second-seeded Bethanie Mattek-Sands and Lucie Safarova will play 12th-seeded Andrea Hlavackova and Peng Shuai.
