Labour is heading towards crushing victories in Dunedin and Taieri and David Clark has declared victory. "It’s an absolutely historic night and a very exciting one," he told the ODT. In Dunedin with 62.%% of the vote counted David Clark (15,015) had three times the vote of Michael Woodhouse (5296). Labour was on 57.6% and National 21.7%Dunedin National candidate Michael Woodhouse admitted the tide was "stronger than we expected". Despite not having the best term David Clark is heading towards a smashing victory in Dunedin.
