The WDT said the public need not worry now that King Maha Vajiralongkorn had taken the dog under patronage. Then on September 5, Tawatchai Srikaew visited the shelter with Chon Buri governor Pakkarathorn Thianchai. As a moral support for the shelter, Tawatchai donated dog and cat food along with the royal gift of His Majesty in the name of his royal pet dog Khun Fu. Tawatchai visited Tay-tay and the other dogs and praised Peerapaha for her dedicated care for stray dogs and cats at her shelter. According to WDT, His Majesty told Tawatchai to have a wheelchair build for Tay-tay so that the dog could walk conveniently.
