Witchawut said a ceremony would be held at the Banjong Buri Hotel in Muang district at 11.30am on Wednesday so Toon can receive His Majesty’s gift. Toon is running in Nakhon Si Thammarat on Monday and is scheduled to reach the neighbouring province of Surat Thani later in the day. The governor said Toon is scheduled to spend five days and four nights in Surat Thai for a 276-kilometre run. He is scheduled to take a rest on Tuesday and resume the run from the Kanchanadit Highway District Office on Wednesday.
