The formalities of Durga Puja have begun in Bangladesh with the Hindus performing Mahalaya rituals. After early morning rituals in temples in Dhaka and other parts of the country on Saturday, the devotees started adorning the statues of Goddess Durga. At the Khamarbari Puja venue, people were decorating the stage in the afternoon.
