RANCHI: Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha members on Thursday observed the death anniversary of Nathuram Godse at Mahatma Gandhi Marg in Ranchi. This is the first time that such an event has been organised in Jharkhand to pay tribute to the person who assassinated Gandhi.State president of Hindu Mahasabha Vijay Kumar Mishra said: "Nathuram Godse was a part of Hindu Mahasabha and we are followers of his ideologies. BJP and RSS have avoided to discuss him as they fear the political repercussions of openly backing Godse. We observed his death anniversary... to spread awareness about his ideologies. Despite Gandhi playing a role in our freedom struggle, he was involved in anti-Hindu acts as well.
