Rabat – Hilton, the global brand of full-service hotels and resorts, inked a deal to inaugurate a development office in Casablanca, with the aim of expanding its line of hotels and resorts in North Africa. Building on its strong presence in the region, with 15 hotel projects in Algeria, Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia, Hilton has identified North Africa as a favored area for future growth. In January, the company announced a few months ago the construction of the first hotel hotel in the region, christened the Hilton Garden Inn Casablanca Sidi Maarouf. We have nearly 5,000 rooms still under construction in North Africa, including Egypt. “I am very excited to focus on North Africa because we are beginning to make very good progress in our market positioning,” explained Hasbini.
