more-inHike Messenger, India’s first homegrown messaging and social media company, acquired Creo, a Bengaluru-based technology startup. Creo’s more than 50-member team will soon begin work on a platform to enable third-party developers to build services on the Hike platform, according to a company statement issued on Friday. Last year, the company raised $175 million in its fourth round of funding led by Tencent and Foxconn at a valuation of $1.4 billion. Hike has over 300 employees in Bengaluru and Delhi. As of January 2016, it had over 100 million users.
