The pile-up occurred around 9am Monday due to low visibility amid dense fog, said Trishal fire service officials. “A bus veered off track and rammed a road divider at Bogar Bazar intersection in Trishal Upazila. Four other buses hit it from behind,” said officer Zainul Abedin. “One bus plunged into a roadside ditch.”The injured, mostly garment workers, were taken to the local health complex. Traffic on the lane leading to the capital Dhaka was disrupted for half an hour until the damaged buses were removed from the scene.
