Highway bridge cracks spell troubleThe authorities closed the Salehpur Bridge in Savar’s Aminbazar on the outskirts of Dhaka, allowing traffic on only one lane of the busy Dhaka-Aricha Highway on Thursday, Jan 14, 2021 after a portion of the bridge caved in due to cracks in girders.
