DriveBC says Highway 1 is now open. It was closed between Revelstoke, B.C. CLEAR - #BCHwy1 is now OPEN from #Revelstoke to #Golden —@DriveBCHighway 1 between Revelstoke and Golden, a distance of 148 km, reopened around 6 a.m. PT Sunday. Slow downs do remain along Highway 8 which has been reduced to single lane traffic because of a wash out 24 kilometres west of Merritt B.C. Also on Westside Road traffic has been reduced to single lane because of a wash out north of Fintry, a small town on the west side of Lake Okanagan.
