Jathika Nidahas Peramuna (JNP) Leader Wimal Weerawansa claimed that losses from the treasury bond scam outweighed all acts of corruption highlighted in the PRECIFAC report. The bond scam by contrast, also applies to all segments of society unlike other alleged acts of corruption.
