Beauden Barrett's Blues were too good for the Highlanders in Auckland. The Highlanders were, however, guilty of butchering at least two tries in the second half - Connor Garden-Bachop's wayward pass to an unmarked Liam Coombes-Fabling one example. From an individual standpoint for the Blues, Robinson's ever industrious work up front set the platform for the Blues. AJ Lam made a major impact off the bench after replacing Bryce Heem early in the second half, too.
