A student has been taken to hospital in a moderate condition after smoking synthetic drugs. A Christchurch high school student was hospitalised after smoking synthetic drugs with a group of students. Emergency services were called to Hornby High School on Waterloo Rd, Christchurch about 11.20am on Wednesday. In a statement on behalf of Hornby High School principal Robin Sutton and board chairperson Kaye Banks, the school confirmed there was an incident in which a “small group of students” smoked synthetic drugs on school grounds.
