Finn Genc and Richie Rimlinger each scored two goals as the Newport Harbor High School boys’ water polo team beat rival Studio City Harvard-Westlake 9-6 at home Monday in a nonleague match. Newport Harbor and Harvard-Westlake met in the 2018 and 2019 CIF Southern Section Division 1 title matches, with the Wolverines winning each time. Taylor Smith and Lily Gess each scored twice for Newport Harbor (2-1). Alex Love and Avery Montiel each scored twice, and Sophia Stark and Paige Naegle also found the back of the net. Anna Reed made six saves for Newport Harbor, and Madi Swart added three saves.
