A bench comprising Justice Jahangir Hossain and Justice Md Jahangir Hossain started the hearing of the death reference on Sunday. Dhaka's third speedy trial tribunal awarded death to Oishee on Nov 12, 2015. Her death reference reached the High Court on Nov 19, 2015. Police pressed charges against their daughter Oishee Rahman, her two friends and the underage house help for murders at the couple’s residence in the capital’s Chamelibagh. The underage house help is on trial in a juvenile court.
