The High Court has commuted the death sentence of Oishee Rahman for murdering her parents in 2013. A Dhaka court sentenced Oishee to death on November 12, 2015 for murdering her parents in clod blood. Oishee moved the High Court a month later and sought acquittal of all charges. Her death reference also reached the court for approval. On March 12 this year, the High Court began hearing on the appeal and death reference.
