George Hinds died in the blast in Heysham, Lancashire, which saw multiple houses collapse in the early hours of Sunday and left four people in hospital. "Search operations continue and we are working with partners to make the area safe and investigate the cause of the explosion." The North West Ambulance Service said: "We treated five casualties at the scene. Electricity North West tweeted it had stopped electricity supplies to the area for safety reasons with an investigation into what caused the explosion ongoing.
