LONDON -- For 142 years, traders on the London Metal Exchange have called out their bets on copper and aluminum— with the freedom to down pints while on the clock. For most people, drinking on the job is something seen only in the TV show “Mad Men”, set in the 1960s. For the LME, that era ended this week when the exchange banned drinking alcohol before conducting business.
