OAKMONT, Pa. (AP) " One year after a crushing defeat at Chambers Bay, Dustin Johnson is atop the leaderboard at the U.S. Open. He had a 3-under 67 in the opening round, then went back out for a 69 in the afternoon. Johnson was immaculate from tee-to-green at Oakmont during a marathon day of 36 holes on Friday. It was the best opening round in 10 majors held at Oakmont, beating a record shared by Ben Hogan and Tom Watson. Landry plays his second round Saturday morning.
