Suspected heroin worth an estimated Sh10 million was seized on Thursday in a sting operation along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway. A woman, who was ferrying the drugs to Nairobi, was also arrested. “We received information of a bus travelling from Kampala in Uganda through Busia with a passenger carrying suspected drugs stashed in brooms," he said. He said it was not clear how the suspect managed to pass through the Busia border without being recognised. While the drugs are yet to be verified, a source privy to the investigations said it was heroin with a street value is Sh10 million.
