To celebrate Chinese Taipei's best Universiade performance ever, a "Taiwan Heroes Parade" will be held on Thursday. Before the parade, the athletes will have an audience with President Tsai Ing-wen. In addition, a series of artistic and music performances will be held at Taipei City Hall Square starting at 4:30 p.m., ahead of the arrival of the parade. Taipei Deputy Mayor Chen Chin-jun said that the Taipei Universiade had gone from what people believed to be a mission impossible to an event greatly commended by the public. The athletes will express their gratitude to the public onstage at the Taipei City Hall Plaza, he added.
