He visited the victim at the Noakhali General Hospital around 11am on Saturday, where she is currently receiving medical care following the incident. The woman was allegedly gang-raped by attackers who assaulted and tied up her husband and daughter in Noakhali’s Subarnachar on Dec 30. Hero Alom suffered a defeat in the recently held parliamentary elections where he contested from the Bogra 4 constituency. He also boycotted the election after accusing his rival candidate’s men of expelling his agents from the polling centers.
