After a long wait, Deepika Padukone signed a movie. That movie happened to be Chhapaak, which is the story based on acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal's life. Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married and November, and Deepika started shooting for Chhapak earlier this year. While recollecting about it at an event called The Print's Off the Cuff, Dippy, when asked if she burnt the prosthetics of the last day of Chhapaak to not let the film go emotional, confirmed it and stated, "I took the piece of the prosthetics took an alcohol, went to a corner and burnt it." Prior to Chhapak and Raazi, Meghna had directed Talvar, starring Irrfan Khan in a pivotal role.
