The First Minister and his wife have gone on holiday to Qatar to escape the Scottish winter and the political meltdown afflicting his crippled party, and it rained on his first day! Is it just a coincidence that Yousaf and Nadia El-Nakla arrived on Saturday? Not only are all the hotels and shopping malls air conditioned, Doha even has air conditioned streets. Even in the oil-rich Gulf, all this electricity does not come for free... and there's a colossal environmental cost as well.
