Pantone's colour of the year might be coral, but if the Oscars red carpet was anything to go by, 2019 is all about hot pink. From Gemma Chan in Valentino to Linda Cardellini in Schiaparelli to Angela Bassett in Reem Acra, some of the best looks were a hot, punchy pink. They weren't afraid to clash with the red carpet, and it paid off. The obvious place to start is with lipstick, and you won't find better or brighter than MAC Candy Yum Yum, $40. This matte, neon pink formula will last all day, and it has all the impact of Chan's confection of an Oscars gown.
