It's all about the race to become crowned as the new home of Amazon's HQ2, and everyone wants to get in on the action. But can it offer the goods enough to meet the top-notch requirements of a tech behemoth such as Amazon? This development is a multi-phase effort comprised of a network of public spaces totaling 6.9 million square feet and 14 acres in West Philadelphia, a size that is quite unusual within a major metropolitan area. The project is being developed by Brandywine Realty Trust on land owned by one of its partners in the project, Drexel University. It will offer 2.8 million square feet of office space, 1 million square feet of lab space and 1.6 million square feet of residential space.
