Another 28 percent of the public doesn’t believe that the Russia story is a legitimate issue, with the rest unsure. In the intervening months, however, views of the Russia story’s legitimacy had flagged somewhat, reaching a low of 42 percent in September. Nineteen percent of Trump voters currently say that the administration’s relationship with Russia is a legitimate issue. In a separate tracking question, 53 percent of Americans now say that the Trump administration’s relationship with Russia is at least a somewhat serious problem, and 38 percent that it’s very serious. Nearly a third say it’s not very or not at all serious, little changed from earlier in the year.
