Based on the Willis Towers Watson estimate, they could spend more than $15 billion on employee healthcare this year. It might nudge the healthcare industry towards incrementally faster, better and cheaper healthcare innovations—but not much more. By first focusing the quality, satisfaction and cost for the alliance’s employees, Amazon could justify its efforts through increased employee productivity and satisfaction and reduced cost.
