Credit: Epic GamesWe've now officially begun the road to the World Cup in Fortnite: Battle Royale. That doesn't mean that they won't make it into the World Cup at some point in the next four weeks, as they'll definitely be competing. This isn't a surprising dichotomy: pro players do, on the whole, tend to be really good at Fortnite. Previous tournaments have been a little more curated than this, and competitions like the Pro-Am at E3 made sure to include not only big names from Fortnite but elsewhere, as well. That's not the case with the World Cup, where everything is wide open.
