India has also held its own 95th Academy Awards as the chartbuster RRR, Naatu Naatu has got the Best Original Song and The Elephant Whisperer collaborated as the winner in the Best Documentary Shorts category. This is the third nominee from India, Shaunak Sen’s All That Breathes, lost to Navalny in the Best Documentary Feature Film segment. In this film both the RRR song “Naatu Naatu” and the documentary All That Breathes had earlier been pitched to win the coveted golden statuette. The winners of the 95th Academy Awards have been marked in bold. The Oscar show has been hosted by popular late-night by Jimmy Kimmel, who had come back for the third stint as the host for the 95th Academy Awards.
