According to a report by citinewsroom.com, the Public Relations Officer of the GNFS, DO II Desmond Ackah, cautioned against the use of naked flames and the indiscriminate burning of refuse. DO II Ackah urged the public to take proactive steps by reporting potential fire hazards before they escalate into major incidents. Fire breaks out at Madina Market in AccraAccording to the GNFS, 5,585 fire incidents were reported across the nation between January and November 2025. This figure slightly declined compared to the 5,596 fire outbreaks reported during the same period in 2024.
