__________________________________________Raised in Gore then Invercargill, Chief Petty Officer Royal NZ Navy Amy Baynes was serving in Afghanistan when she was injured. When the Bandit Pilgrims let it be known they wanted to come to New Zealand, Baynes seized the chance to step forward in the hope of helping start something significant in her own country. It's national co-ordinator, Dave Benfell, is himself a wounded veteran and among the NZ team members. Even in the NZ team "I can probably guarantee infantry will always gang up on intelligence and medics." The New Zealand team captained by Baynes also comprises:Dave Benfell (Tauranga) - ex Infantry NZ Army and ex British paratrooper.
