Out of the five, two are business-related; the Growth and Sustainability Levy (Amendment) Act and the Ghana Deposit Protection (Amendment) Act. Speaking on the Growth and Sustainability Levy Amendment, President Mahama explained that the levy paid by mining companies has been revised. The Ghana Deposit Protection (Amendment) Act modifies the original legislation, which was designed to guarantee deposits held in commercial banks and financial institutions. The other enactments include the Security and Intelligence Agencies Act, 2026; the University of Engineering and Agricultural Sciences Act, 2026; and the Education Regulatory Bodies (Amendment) Act, 2026.
