As much as people love to complain about Jersey drivers, we're not the worst. According to a new Forbes Advisor study, none of the top 10 cities with the worst drivers in America are in the Garden State. Forbes Advisor identified "worst" as "the cities where drivers engage in the most hazardous behavior that threatens public safety." Worst drivers in AmericaForbes compared the 50 most populated U.S. cities across five metrics — the number of fatal car accidents per 100,000 residents (24% of score); the number of fatal accidents involving a drunk driver (19%); number of fatal accidents involving a distracted driver (19%); number of fatal accidents involving speeding (19%); and number of people killed in fatal crashes (19%). To be fair, no New Jersey cities were included in the study of the top 50.
