Cannabis becomes legal on Wednesday, and Edmontonians looking to make their historic first legal purchase will have a few options. The Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission will be first up, with its new retail website going online at 12:01 a.m. While there are a lot of places to buy pot online, the AGLC site is the only place in the province you can do it legally. But if you want to get your bud in person, you’ll have to wait until the stores open at 10 a.m. The Edmonton area has 12 of Alberta’s 17 stores approved to open Wednesday.
