Open to all corners of the regional press – from newspapers and digital publications to freelance reporters and entire editorial teams – The Regional Press Awards celebrate the best of UK regional and local journalism. The awards feature 20 categories - ranging from the best in breaking news to digital initiatives, with separate recognition for larger and smaller titles. As part of his coverage, he secured an interview with Fraser Wishart, chief executive of the Professional Footballers' Association Scotland.
