09 Nov 2023| 06:01am ISTSubmit monthly bills of librarians, watchmen: DoETeam HeraldPANJIM: The Directorate of Education has instructed all heads of institutions to submit the remuneration bills of the librarians and watchmen regularly on a monthly basis latest by 3rd of every month, along with attendance certificates. According to a circular issued by Director of Education Shailesh R S Zingade, most aided institutions are not submitting the remuneration bills of the librarian and watchman on time i.e. on monthly basis, as a result of which, the librarians and watchmen do not get salary in time. Also the bills for three or six months are received at one time that too, without any attendance certificate. The circular states that the department will not be held responsible for the delay in submission of remuneration bills and attendance certificates beyond the given date.
