23 Nov 2023| 02:02am ISTGoa SCPCR Observes World Children's Day with 60 hearing impaired children in collaboration with Goa Association of the Deaf (GAD)Team HeraldThe Goa State Commission for Protection of Child Rights observed World Children’s Day with a unique full day fun and learning programme for over 60 hearing impaired children at Grand Hyatt Goa, Bambolim on 20th November 2023 in collaboration with Goa Association of the Deaf (GAD). The programme was fully supported and hosted by Grand Hyatt Goa, Bambolim. Lokvishwas Pratishthan School for Hearing Impaired Children, Dhavali, Ponda; St. Xavier's Academy School for Special Children, Old Goa; Sanjay Centre for Special Education, Porvorim; Gujarati Samaj Educational Trust Special School for Handicapped, Margao and New Dawn Ashadeep Special School, Vasco Da Gama, participated in the event. Children are raising their voices on the issues that matter to them calling for adults to create a better future. This programme was curated for hearing impaired children to highlight & honor the unique needs, struggles of hearing impaired children.
