The 17-year-old presented the medals to school children taking part in a range of activities including BMX and skateboarding. The Chiltern Harrier took up athletics while at secondary school and looks back wishing she got to experience a day like the School Games. Nwafor is one of 20 young talented SportsAid athletes who will engage with and inspire pupils across Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes during the 2023/2024 academic year. And while Nwafor hopes to inspire the next generation, she also learned a lot from meeting them. Working with Stoke Park, Leap and SportsAid will mobilise 20 young talented athletes to inspire others young people to achieve their personal best.
