HENLEY Tennis Club lost out in a touch league clash but gain success on the junior circuit last week. Jim Neale and Dan Barr were edged out 7-5, 7-5 in a tight contest against the top pair, with Neale covering every corner of the court, and later fell to the second pair. Max Mortimer claimed two U12 titles and a third-place finish across three events, showing resilience and composure to turn matches around and close out finals under pressure. Sammy Andrews made a strong start to the year in U9 competition, finishing third and sixth in his first two events of 2026. William Scott enjoyed an outstanding run, winning a U8 tournament in Devon before stepping up to U9 level at just seven years old, losing only to the eventual winner.
