Alcohol and speed are suspected to be major factors in a motorcycle accident which saw a man in his 20s airlifted to hospital in a critical condition on Sunday. Emergency services were called to Snells Beach in north Auckland around 12.50am. The man remained in a critical but stable condition on Monday, a spokeswoman for the Auckland District Health Board said.
