The helicopter landed in a grass field at Wat Ratbamrung Scool in Moo 10 village in Chumphon’s Lang Suan district at about 10am. No one was injured. On board were Maj-General Somkiart Nuathong, the commander of Border Patrol Police Region 4, and seven other officers. They were flying to the anniversary celebration for the 41st Border Patrol camp in Chumphon’s Mueang district.
