KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 1): HeiTech Padu Bhd has bagged a two-year contract worth RM79.77 million from the Road Transport Department (JPJ) to maintain the MYSIKAP system. MySIKAP is an online portal by JPJ which enables the public to perform transactions involving motor vehicle and driver licensing. In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the total business solutions services provider said JPJ awarded the contract to it last Friday (Oct 28), and that its work would start today until December 2018. HeiTech Padu expects the contract to contribute positively to its future earnings. Shares in HeiTech Padu closed up five sen or 8.7% at 63 sen, for a market value of RM63.27 million.
