The Knights of Royal England Joust is coming to the castle over the bank holiday weekend, continuing on from previous successful events this year. So far, visitors have been transported back in time as Hedingham Castle has welcomed the Knights of Middle England for its spring jousting event as well as its Excalibur event set in the times of King Arthur. Both events welcomed thousands through the gates, with the expectation being the upcoming joust event will repeat the success. The Knights of Royal England are at Hedingham Castle for the jousting event over the bank holiday weekend. Gates open at 10am each day, with the first joust starting at approximately midday and the second starting at about 3pm.
