Heavy downpour expected in Nairobi, Western and Central over the weekendSome parts of the country will experience heavy rainfall to the range over 30mm beginning Friday, Kenya Meteorological Department has warned.In its weather forecast update, the weatherman has listed Nairobi, Western, Central Kenya and Coastal parts of the country that will experience heavy rains from tomorrow up to early next week. “The rainfall being experienced over several parts of the country is expected to continue into the weekend and the better part of early next week. Heavy rainfall of more than 30mm in 24 hours is expected over Western, Central region including Nairobi, and the coastal region of Kenya,” weatherman states in the update. Besides the rainfall, the weatherman has also said that the regions will also experience strong winds of 20knots and large waves of two metres.
