The Quick Response Team (QRT) of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has been working to reduce the waterlogging caused by excessive rains since Tuesday. Quick response teams are being sent to the areas where waterlogging is still seen and the drains of those areas are being cleaned and water flow is being ensured. If there is any water logging anywhere, citizens have been requested to take pictures through the “Shobar Dhaka” app and mention the location. The departments concerned, including the engineering department and the waste department, have been working since late Tuesday night under the direction of DNCC Mayor Atiqul Islam. The waterlogging situation is being monitored round-the-clock and action is being taken, according to the press release.
