Weather experts have issued a heavy rain watch for parts of the North Island, including the Coromandel which is battling through recovery after Cyclone Gabrielle. The watch is also in place for Bay of Plenty west of Whakatāne and Rotorua. MetService said the watch is in place from 3pm today through to 10am tomorrow.
