A large police presence was seen on Maitland St in Hamilton on Tuesday morning. Armed police surrounded a Hamilton property on Tuesday morning after two men entered the premises with a firearm and demanded money. At least five police cars, two police dogs and a dozen armed police officers were called to the residential property on Maitland St in Frankton shortly after 9.50am. Police are following strong lines of inquiry and do not believe the public has any further cause for concern.
